Senior Engineering Studio · Est. 2016

We build software that other engineers respect.

development.quest is a senior engineering studio. We design, build, and operate high-availability systems for teams that need to scale without shipping fragile code.

FIWARE Context Integration for Smart Territories

We connect fragmented municipal services, IoT grids, and environmental monitors into ETSI-standardized NGSI-LD context layers. Discover how we built the core smart city integration layer serving multiple municipalities in Extremadura, Spain.

Multi-Tenant CRM & Admin SaaS Platform

For Kontaly, we engineered a secure, high-performance customer relationship management and administration platform. Built with Next.js dynamic routing, React CRM pipelines, and row-level database partitioning on Linux containers.

How we work

Four practices, applied to every engagement.

These are not aspirations. They are the constraints we accept on every project, on day one, before scope is even fixed.

  1. Production-quality from day one

Type checks, tests, observability, and CI on the first commit. There is no "we will harden it later" phase, because that phase never happens.

  2. Two-week sprints, working software

Every two weeks you get a deployable build, a written summary of what changed, and the metrics that moved. No dashboards we built for the sake of having dashboards.

  3. Zero-downtime migrations as default

Postgres logical replication, expand-and-contract schemas, feature flags. Production traffic is not a test environment we are willing to break.

  4. Boring tech where boring works

TypeScript, Go, Python, Postgres, Redis, Kubernetes. We pick novel technology only when the boring choice has a measured failure mode in your specific context.

Engineering Outpost

Let's build systems that don't break.

No sales pitches, no middle managers. Share your codebase, technical specs, or performance bottlenecks directly with senior builders.
